DJ PicknMixx Mobile Disco Welcome to Pick n Mixx. We have played all over Dorset and Hampshire. Our state of the art sound system will deliver deep bass and clear mid-range vocals.

We are a mobile DJ team based in Dorset who specialise in bringing our energetic and lively show to weddings, birthdays and special occasions. We are professional, reliable and we take pride in making your special occasion a truly spectacular night to remember. With customer service at the heart of our business, we know how to create a fantastic party, atmosphere, get the tunes pumping and the cro

wd moving, no matter how young, old. Our lighting rig will leave you in awe; it features moving heads, a 5W laser display with graphics and animations and a host of other lights which will make the room and the crowd light up. From day one, we will work with you to plan your party and make it perfect. We encourage you to have a play list or a idea of what you would like to play. We will deliver all of your requirements and we also enjoy having your input in everything we do or if you prefer you can just sit back and let us take care of everything. We play for the crowd and welcome requests. Everything from Heavy metal to Hey Macarena. We have over 7 Million tracks to hand which span over 6 decades. If you want it, we will play it. We don't play grime, Sorry ! We take safety very seriously and we are fully insured for your piece of mind and will send you certificate if venue requests. Just wrapped up Elodie’s spooktacular 9th birthday bash at the amazing Factory Space and wow, these kids (and parents!) brought the moves! 👻✨

🪄 We saw:
🔥 Epic dance battles
🏆 Limbo records shattered (seriously, how did they bend that low?!)
🐶 Even a dog dressed as a dinosaur getting in on the groove!

Great to be back at the The Factory Space again. Always so lovely and makes us laugh.

Today, We were part of a big Halloween party at the amazing in Poole..

The party was full of tricks and treats for both the kids and also the adults and everybody looked incredible in outfits ranging from pennywise to witches and even a dinosaur vampire.

Every parent who attended.... You should be so proud of your children... There was a absolute pleasure today. So well behaved and happy.

Just wrapped up Adam & Karly’s amazing wedding and wow, what a celebration! 💍✨

Soo many people and teams to thank for last night as it had it all !!!!!!

Firstly, It's a huge congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Grant. Such a lovely couple. We have been speaking to Karly and Adam for a year and it's been nothing but a pleasure.

Thanks for letting us bring the tunes and keep the dancefloor buzzing all night 💃. Dance floor supplied by the brilliant 11:11 Events LTD - Dorset DJ

Next up is the amazing Nelson from VIP waiters which simply is The BEST surprise singing waiter we have ever seen. Nelson had everyone on their feet 🎤🙌 You can tell he is a absolute pro at what he does. We were in laughter for most of the evening.

Great to see the team from the wonderful Magic Mirror Booth once again capturing all those unforgettable smiles 📸💫 always amazing.

First time we have seen Wafflicious and absolutely blown away with how friendly the team were and the waffles looked incredible.

We also have to thank The Orangery Suite. The team up there are always and have always been amazing to us. Such a lovely place to DJ come winter or summer.

Oh... Blimey and Jacob, who could forget Jacob. He learnt some magic with us and fooled every guest there. Future talent.

It's time to bust the myth: a DJ isn't just pressing play and sitting back! 🎧🚫

For us, being a DJ means dedication to your unique celebration. 🎉

It all starts with a meeting with our couples 💍 or birthday guests to discuss your personal playlist and vision. This is our favourite part of the meeting. It gives us a real insight of you, your family and your friends.

We have NEVER and will NEVER come to any gig with our own set playlist. We don't even have a premade megamix's.

Instead, we spend on average five hours before your big day meticulously blending your tracks in order.. Yeap... Homework is still a thing for us !

We fit the music perfectly and balance it. Slow songs for the buffet to up beat tempo for the grand finale, making sure the entire night is seamless and personalized. 🎶✨

We pride ourselves on being unique, and we promise: we will never just press play.

We are honoured to have played in this venue on many occasions now and it simply is your perfect wedding or party venue.... Without a doubt.

The Hayloft at the historic Crown Hotel, Poole! 🥂

​Nestled in the charming Old Town, this beautiful space is backed by centuries of history.

It's a stone throw away from the Guildhall, so no need for taxi's on this one.

​We can't speak highly enough of Lisa and the team, they are absolutely amazing and deliver a flawless event every time. They will get you all dancing and you will feel like your best friends before the night is over.

Lisa is so proud of what she has created in the venue, that not only can you eat and party in, but you can also sleep there... What more can you can ask for.

If you want a memorable, elegant celebration, this is the place!

Communication via WhatsApp was excellent & the entire planning process for making our wedding have the best playlist, was also really straightforward.

Personalising the DJ setup on site & putting things in place a day earlier also helped reassure us on our wedding day.

The addition of some magic tricks with our wedding guests also didn’t go unnoticed. Thank you both for being superb!"
