Last walk of the day, and it was so nice to smell that salty sea air. 🌊 The Poppins gang had a blast playing ball — although they were much more enthusiastic about chasing it than actually bringing it back! 😆

Only lost two balls today, so I’m calling that a win. 😂

Sadly, the day didn’t end quite so well. My van decided to start bellowing out white smoke from the exhaust 😩. I just about managed to get her home, but now I have a poorly Poppins van. 😢

I’m really hoping I’m wrong, but I have a horrible feeling this one might be an expensive one! 😩🤞

Gosh, it was muggy today! Who didn’t look at the weather properly and wore leggings and boots after getting soaked yesterday? 🥵🙋‍♀️😆

We had a lovely time exploring the paths on the heath, with a few stops at the watering spots to cool off along the way. 💦🐾 I so wanted to join the gang and go splashing around with them today! 😂

I didn’t think I’d be wishing for the hot weather back so soon 🙈😂 I didn’t realise it was due to rain, so we ended up with wet feet and muddy dogs. I haven’t missed the mud at all 😩😆

But it was all worth it seeing the gang living their best lives, enjoying all the sights and smells, and playing chase. We even had an extra-long walk because they were having such fun! 🐾💜

As each day passes, you can really see the pretty heather blooming. 🌸

I even managed to get a photo of Shadow (black spaniel)🥳🐶 He’s normally zooming around so fast that I only ever manage to capture a blur… or the odd body part! 😂 So it was a win today 🥳

A bit of a hotter day today, so I decided SANG was the best place for the Poppins gang! 🐾☀️

When the weather turns, there’s no more river fun until next year, so we made the most of it today. 💦

It’s one of the gang’s favourite spots, and they absolutely LOVE swimming in the river. 🐶❤️

Happy dogs, lots of splashing and plenty of fun — the perfect way to enjoy a warm day! 🥰🐾

I still can’t get over how much it looks like autumn when we’re still in August. We’re definitely due some rain, but only at nighttime, please! 😂

I don’t often share photos that aren’t work-related, but I thought it was time to introduce my family. ❤️

On the last day of my holiday, we had such a lovely family day out on the boat. Being out on the water and seeing our beautiful area from a completely different perspective never gets boring 🌊☀️

It really makes you appreciate how lucky we are to live where we do.

One of those perfect days spent together, making lovely memories. ❤️

First day back after two lovely weeks off, and although it was so nice to have some time away, I’ve missed my gang sooooo much! 🥰🐾

Seeing all the dogs so excited to see me again gave me the biggest smile. ❤️

We had the loveliest walk at the heath today — jumping, splashing, running and having the best time together! 🐕💦🌿

It was such a surprise to see how much the stream has dropped in just two weeks, and how much the ferns have changed colour already. There were so many beautiful shades everywhere — little signs that summer is starting to turn towards autumn. 🍂

It’s good to be back! 🥰🐾
