Do I need to be posting my face on my feed?
Short answer. YES.
Let me elaborate…
If you are the face of your business then absolutely, you need to be showing up.
Trust is a HUGEEEE component when it comes to a potential client or customer choosing you over your competitors.
Why is this?
In a digital world where anonymity is prevalent, showing one’s face can be a way to demonstrate authenticity and build trust with others. People often associate a face with a real person, adding credibility to their online presence.
But it doesn’t have to be your standard vanilla ‘meet the owner’ posts. Here are a few of my favourite ways to incorporate my clients faces into their feeds 👇
✨ If you’re showing your face whilst discussing a product, or even applying a product it’s proof you’re a lover of it. Not to mention the said brand may re share and you just doubled if not triples your brand awareness.
✨ Step outside of your work space and capture a fun photo of you in your natural habitat. This will making people double take as it will break up your feed.
✨ Maybe you have your own branded products, this is an absolute achievement! Show this when you’re promoting it rather than just putting it on a pretty shelf and taking a photo. We see it constantly with brands like Kylie cosmetics and REFY!
✨ Take your basic catalogue model shots to a new level, print off your own photos and use those to ‘model’ the products.
✨ Branded content meets legally blonde, find something with your brand on it and get comfortable in your surroundings. Extra points if you allow your personality come through in the shots.
Adapt and play around with these ideas for your own content! The possibilities are literally endless, it just has to feel authentic to you and your brand!
