Emergency services were called to a Southsea address after the body of a man in his 60s was discovered on Sunday evening.

Police confirmed they were called to Chewter Close at around 7.20pm on July 27. Paramedics also attended, with multiple emergency service vehicles seen in the road.

No arrests have been made. Officers said the death is not being treated as suspicious. A Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary spokesperson said:>

“We were called at 7.20pm on Sunday, 27 July, following the discovery of the body of a man in his 60s at a property in Chewter Close. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”

A file is now being prepared for the coroner to determine the circumstances of the man’s death.

Firstly I'd like to thank everyone who shared the post about the Eastern European males who followed the school girl, thanks to all the shares we've managed to reach the parent of the girl who hadn't even told her mum as she was too scared and shaken by the incident and seems to feel it was her fault.

A statement will be provided to police and hope they bring these scumbags to justice as they need to be taken off our streets.

The page may only have 5.8k but is consistently growing and hopefully will continue to help locate missing persons, witnesses from appeals, and help to raise awareness over incidents that occur.

Had a post sent to me today over a pair of eastern European males who pulled along a schoolgirl, knowing someone close to the location i had them check their cctv and see the young girl and car with one of the males harassing her saying yo beautiful.
The woman who posted also heard things being said I wanna track down the original poster so I can contact police with her and both report this incident, I think the girl was from Milton Cross School and tried to change direction and was alarmed by these males please share this and help find the parents of the girl and the woman who posted the original post regarding the girl.
The girl who was followed is in this post please share and find a name or parents to inform them and get this reported.

A major emergency response was triggered after the discovery of a man's body in a residential car park on Woodpath Close, near Elm Grove, Southsea.

Specialist medics, including an air ambulance team, were dispatched to the scene, with the helicopter landing on Southsea Common to provide urgent assistance. Despite the efforts of paramedics and doctors, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding the death remain unclear at this stage, and Hampshire Police have been approached for comment. Officers were seen cordoning off the area as they carried out initial investigations.

Local residents reported seeing a heavy police presence, with forensic teams examining the area. It is not yet known if the death is being treated as suspicious.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward as investigations continue.
