Police are appealing for information following a serious incident in Portsmouth

At approximately 3.35pm on Friday, November 7, officers were called to a report of a stabbing on Tangier Road, during a busy school leaving time when many children and families were in the area.

Two men, aged 39 and 46, sustained injuries to their face and head.

Police are keen to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have been passing through the area at the time. They are particularly interested in any mobile phone footage, CCTV or dash cam recordings that may assist their investigation.

A 39-year-old man from Portsmouth has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

A 46-year-old man from Portsmouth has been arrested on suspicion of affray.

A 44-year-old woman from Portsmouth has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

All three currently remain in police custody.

Matthew Johnston, 49, of Haynes Close in Tottenham, London, began grooming and s*xually assaulting the victim in 2014 when he was four years old.

Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Over a number of ensuing years, Johnston subjected the boy to repeated r**es and s*xual abuse.

Johnston was a regular attendee at ComiCon-style events, and used events based around Star Wars and superheroes to groom the victim.The abuse was reported to Suss*x Police in December, 2024, at which point the victim and his family were supported by specialist officers and an investigation was launched.

Johnston was arrested and subsequently charged with

X2 counts of r**e of a child under 13

X2 counts of s*xual assault of a child under 13

X2 counts of causing a child under 13 to engage in s*xual activity

1x count of engaging in s*xual activity in the presence of a child.

At Hove Crown Court on Friday, 10 October, he was found guilty on all counts.

Susan, 68, was last seen on Viking Way at around 6pm yesterday evening (1 October).

She is described as being around 5ft 2ins tall, with a stocky build, and short curly hair.

Susan was last seen wearing a brown hoody/jumper, jeans, and white crocs with red flowers on them.

Have you seen missing Bella from Portchester?

The 13-year-old was last seen on Gosport Road, Fareham, just before 6pm yesterday evening (1 October).

Police and her family are concerned for her welfare.Bella is white, around 5ft 2ins with a slim build.

She was last seen wearing a school uniform – a white shirt with a dark blue blazer, and black flared trousers.

Emergency services were called to a Southsea address after the body of a man in his 60s was discovered on Sunday evening.

Police confirmed they were called to Chewter Close at around 7.20pm on July 27. Paramedics also attended, with multiple emergency service vehicles seen in the road.

No arrests have been made. Officers said the death is not being treated as suspicious. A Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary spokesperson said:>

“We were called at 7.20pm on Sunday, 27 July, following the discovery of the body of a man in his 60s at a property in Chewter Close. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”

A file is now being prepared for the coroner to determine the circumstances of the man’s death.
