1️⃣ Anti-Social Behaviour Policy

We’ve made this clearer and more useful for residents affected by anti-social behaviour. It now shows how to report it, what to expect from us, and how we work with other organisations.

A new standalone policy that defines hate crime, explains how to report it, and outlines the support available - as well as our responsibilities, what we ask of residents, and how we work with other organisations.

3️⃣ Rent and Service Charge Setting Policy

We’ve made it easier to understand by removing outdated references and using plain language. It also gives us more flexibility to set rents fairly, while staying compliant with government regulations.

We’re making changes to improve your housing services, and we want your input!

Join us at your local tenant workshop to share your ideas and help shape how we work.

We’ll chat about things like housing office use, community pop-ups, payment options, and more home visits.

☕ Tea, coffee & biscuits provided!

📍 Workshop dates & locations:
Landport: Charles Dickens Centre – Mon 27 Oct, 9:30am–12:30pm
Buckland: Buckland Community Centre – Thurs 30 Oct, 1pm–4pm
Portsea: John Pounds Centre – Fri 31 Oct, 11am–2pm

Keep your home ventilated and warm to prevent damp.
What can you do?

🪟 Ventilating your home by opening windows during and after cooking or bathing
💨Using extractor fans and keeping trickle vents open
🏠Heating rooms to at least 18°C to reduce cold surfaces
👚 Drying clothes outside or in well-ventilated areas
🚪 Keeping doors closed when cooking or bathing to contain moisture

If you spot mould, report it straight away.

Looking for fun, free ways to get moving? Try 5 is your chance to try 20-minute taster sessions of 5 different activities that suit all ages and abilities - no booking needed!

Activities include family dance and netball to chair-based exercises and gym intros (plus women-only options!)

There will also be opportunities to win prizes, get a free health check and explore your local leisure centre options 🩺🏃‍♀️‍➡️💃
