The constant pressure of owning horses these last few years has been unbelievable.

Too much rain. Not enough rain. Heatwaves. Mud. Rock-hard ground. Rising hay prices. Flies. Worrying about winter before summer is even over.

We do it because we love them, but some days it feels like horse ownership has become a full-time exercise in adapting to whatever Mother Nature throws at us next.
