My eldest son got up so he could come and help me. I was so appreciative of him doing this. It only took us an hour to move to huge loads.

Woodchips’s by the ton .. moving this all by hand for mud prep for winter making my dream Yard come to life!

I am lucky enough to get these delivered from a local guy that does forestry and he delivers them for free because I’m doing him a favour taking all of the wood chip that’s been unsorted and he can just drop off as much and as many as he wants when he wants I live in the south Downs and in this damn particularly I get so much water run through my fields and it gets really muddy and high traffic areas where the Horses walking and out the fields and wood ship as my saviour is natural. It’s untreated. It doesn’t hurt the environment which is really important to me but most of all it is soft on my horses feet and legs while they’re running in and out walking in and out of the fields and it is great for mud prevention in really deep muddy wet areas.

Chit chats.. the weather seems to have turned it’s been awfully wet and it’s been coming down in sheets today sometimes I just like to sit in the car and take it all in and watched the buzzard sitting on the post for a few minutes. Did my make up made myself feel a little bit better than I got out and mucked out four stables every time I walked to the mud keep it absolutely honed it down happy Monday.

Coming down in sheets!
well, can’t say I was expecting it to come down quite as hard and fast as it did while I was up there but I suppose I did jinxed myself because I started to do a really good mucking out session on all the four stables and every time I went to walk to the muckheap it absolutely poured it down horse girl life!

Breakfast soup for the mini shetland Binks due to his pallet and the speed he eats at he does love his breakfast soup and boy does he make the most outstanding eating noises the way my mini Jack Russell looks at him when he’s dropping it out of his mouth is hilarious !
