Around this time last year, we spent time on the Southsea Coastal Scheme, watching a whole new beach take shape.

Shingle was pumped ashore from the Boskalis dredger, then diggers, bulldozers and tipper trucks got to work spreading it along the seafront. From the air, the scale of it was something else.

We were also lucky enough to get a tour of the site on foot thanks to Les Searle Group, and to be commissioned by Boskalis to produce a film showcasing their part in the project. Our reel from the works ended up going viral with over 4 million views, which says a lot about how much this stretch of coast means to people here.

When we're not flying for work, we're usually flying for fun 😃

We had the drone out with the family earlier this evening, no client and no brief, just enjoying the view from above. Part way through we got chatting with a fellow pilot who flies a Mini and an Air 3S for fun.

It's always great to meet someone who gets as excited about this as we do.

Nine years into doing this as a job, we still love it as much as the day we started. A few favourites from today below.
