POPPY
Mid 20s
Female
Some dancing experience is a plus, but not essential
Has some “bite”, but also has a gentle, vulnerable side
LUX
Mid 20s
Female
Tough but loveable
LUX’s voice carries us through a lot of the story via voiceover, so an interesting-sounding voice is a plus
BLAKE
Mid 20s+ (no specific upper age limit)
NON-SPEAKING ROLE, but very integral to the story
Physically intimidating is a plus, but not essential
Must be comfortable in water (the character wades out into a lake, waist height)
YOUNG POPPY
8 - 10 years old
NON-SPEAKING ROLE
Will be finalised once older Poppy has been cast
