Every now again Wash get brought in on a project like it’s an 'A' Team mission (for those old enough to remember the ‘A’ Team). In this particular case we got invited in by Dave Ellams, who we've worked with in many guises and over many years.
This project however was particularly challenging, partly because we had to shoot in bloody London! No offence, but add an extra few quid to the bill for the privilege…. And I had to direct celebrities, who quite frankly didn’t require much direction. We had a very short window, plus I’d been pretty ill since Christmas with a condition that disabled me for sometime. So it was challenging to say the least. (Autoimmune breakdown, what can I say!)
However, we had a great brief, great creative direction, great team and a cast of folk who had genuine belief in the message being told. A great shoot all round (great pubs - I take it back London! (But add an extra few quid to the bill for the privilege).
I for one had my eyes opened on what goes on in the world. I’m not vegan and didn’t need to be, but I do try and consider where my food comes from and the conditions the animals are reared in, or so I thought. I wasn’t aware I was being lied to? Gaslit!?
You may have seen this down in that there London. Our role was to assist in production. We pulled together our tight team and we added some direction to the strong concept created by our mate Dave. (It's all in the edit Dave 😃 )
Another mission complete. (Play theme tune).
