Sometimes in life you try to find the right words to say, especially on a post that goes public like this one and especially under the circumstances .

We are in close contact with Jamie and his Mum Emma and what a beautiful amazing brave family they are and that's why your support is so much appreciated because together we can and will make Sunday 31st May a truly special day for Jamie and his family.

Been pretty quiet on the AV front so far this year so was quite nice to get back indoors whilst it was raining today. A couple of low profile TV’s with all cables and services hidden in the walls.. Both just waiting for floating cabinets now to hide the equipment low level..

Home broadband is about to get super competitive.. Amazon are launching Leo very soon which is their own version of Starlink. O2 and others are already using Starlink for an additional service on their mobile packages and further still for home broadband..
if you are stuck on an open reach, Virgin package with high costs and long term contract lock ins now may be the time to consider an alternative.. Low cost from £35 for 100mb ( which is more than enough for most households regardless of what the sales teams tell you when pushing Giga bit services ) At the moment you can benefit from free equipment with heavily reduced installation even FREE on certain packages..
Satellite broadband is normally available on most properties that can see the sky clearly..
Your location is no longer a reason to be left with expensive poor broadband.

Always great to receive nice feedback from customers especially after a nightmare job after following on from a previous installer that not only cut loads of corners but potentially left a very dangerous installation above a gas fire..

Actual broadband speed required.. seeing so many customers being upsold GB broadband at extra cost when they already have in excess of 100mb..
The biggest issue I am finding in modern homes isn’t the speed coming in! No router from any supplier will cover anything more than a small home.
Best advice is choose a plan you actually need and then get some good distribution access points for belt and braces but these can be costly on installation as they need to be wired. For a more DIY solution there are some very good MESH systems on the market that are relatively easy to set up..

2026 is really going to shake up the the home and business market.. Starlink has just launched a £35 subscription for 100mb that is more than sufficient for most people especially with some paying open reach networks in excess of that for 20 - 30 mb
Free equipment
Very low subscription
Free install for packages above £55 and only £75 install for the £35 package

Then on top of that Amazon Leo about to launch 🚀… let’s see what that brings to the party..
BT, EE, Virgin, Talk Talk ….! Time to up your game or at least get competitive with your prices or there will be more dishes on houses since the launch of Sky!!!
