If you are consistently posting engaging and relevant content - you should be growing!

Have a look at your views and followers - are they on the increase compared to the 30 days prior?

If not, it's maybe time to time look at your content strategy!

* disclaimer, it's not only about views and follower count, but if your messaging and call to actions are strong enough, these will convert into customers.

I find getting a head start on work at the weekend so chilled 🧘🏻‍♀️

Call me crazy, but I’ve done all my life admin, a cozy night in planned and I have a spare hour.

It’s nice knowing there is no pressure, no emails that I have to answer and no phone calls to take.

It also means that I don’t need to work 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday 😏

I had no clue what I wanted to do when I left school. I ended up going to university to study Events Management and then I got a job in (shock) Events Management!

A self employed Social Media Manager had always been a dream of mine - but the job just didn’t exist yet!

Whilst in the events industry, I worked with some amazing bars, venues and hotels, and I always found myself taking on their social media accounts (never getting paid any extra of course!) because I knew, or hoped, that the way forward was social media marketing.

I wanted that hands on experience, doing something that I loved.

Fast forward almost 20 years (oh my word!) and I have reached that seemingly unrealistic goal I had as a 18 year old girl.

One of the things I love most about my job is the variety - no two days are ever the same. I get to work with such a wide range of clients across different industries, constantly learning about things that I never expected.

TLDR: there is nothing wrong with these insights!

We (including myself!) can be guilty of only showing the insights of client accounts that have massive increases in views, followers and interactions - but without context, these don’t always mean an awful lot.

The client in this post, has 49 followers (!) and 286 views which even I’ll admit are tiny numbers BUT they have had 17 enquiries within that time period!

So next time you’re bummed about having a low follower count, or low views - remember that’s not all that counts! 💕
