I am currently looking for a part time P.A to join my small team.
15 hours, every other week which means time for yourself to still do all the things you want to do, whilst earning extra money.

You must be a driver with own car, although use of a vehicle is being put in place in the near future, over 25 years old and female due to some limited personal care. Mileage is paid at 40p a mile.
Rate of pay is £12.60 per hour as set by Bury Council.

The hours available are
Mon - Thurs: 4pm till 6pm
which is a tea call. Making simple but nutritional meals that are pre planned and then washing the pots afterwards.

Hours can be either
Monday 9am-4pm and Friday 9am-5pm
or can do a
Monday 8am-4pm and Friday 9am-4pm
or a 9am- 4:30 on both days.


This excludes overtime but with my calculations I do have plenty of overtime that needs to be done also if someone needs more hours.

I love baking, arts & crafts and being outdoors.
I am a wheelchair user, but try to walk short distances mainly with the aid of linking arms when out and about. I have Cerebral Palsy which only affects my walking.

Harry (not his real name) is looking for a calm and confident PA who can es**rt him in his taxi to and from his day activities.
The journey will start and finish in HEYWOOD and will be from 8.30-10.30am and 2,30-4.30pm
Support is required initially for 3 days a week Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays increasing to 4 days to include Tuesdays
There will be occasions maybe once or twice a month for the start time to be 7,30am to collect Harry from his short break stay.

Jacob (not his real name) is 16 years old and lives with his family near Ramsbottom.
Jacob likes going out to cafes to have a hot chocolate and something to eat. He will usually find a café when he’s out. He likes museums, the Sealife centre, Trafford centre or going for a walk as long as a café visit is factored in. Jacob also enjoys a ride on the east Lancs railway and going on the bus or tram to places.
Jacob likes to have his headphones with him and his tablet. He will listen to music and sometimes likes to film where he is.
Jacob has 3 hours a week which could be used as 6 hours fortnightly to enable longer days out.

Fridays - 9.00am - 5.00pm
Saturdays - 9.00am - 4.00pm (or 10.00am - 5.00pm if preferred)
These two days will usually consist of maybe, shopping, light housework, trips out to local parks or nature reserves, swimming or just going for a coffee somewhere.

Sundays - 9.00am - 11.00am
(or 10.00am - 12.00 if preferred)
This is a breakfast call which includes, making breakfast, washing pots, help with showering, changing bedding and a general tidy round.

The guaranteed hours are 25 every other week but extra hours are available to cover, holidays, sickness and even evenings out.

Billy (not his real name)
Is a 16 year old who lives in RADCLIFFE BURY
Billy loves technology, taking things apart ( very rarely puts them back!), Lego, making models. We have a caravan so he likes riding his bike around the site.
He loves animals and being in water especially paddle boarding.
He plays rugby once a week.
Billy has 6 hours a week available, and it would be great if he could have some support on either Saturday (preferably) or Sunday.

new Personal Assistant (PA) Support network, that offers an opportunity for peer support and collaboration. It’s a space where PAs can connect with others, share experiences, celebrate successes and seek support with challenges.

The Network is for all PAs and SEPAs, and it not for organisations who work with PAs, but we would appreciate it if you could please share with PAs/SEPAs you may work with?
