Job Title: Personal Assistant for 21 year old
Location: ROCHDALE Greater Manchester
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour and expenses paid
Hours: 27 per week
This role is very flexible and will be week days and weekends
We are seeking a confident, experienced PA to support a happy sassy 21 year old
This is a long-term role with a welcoming family.

Jenny (not her real name) lives at home with her family. She attends a day center 2 days a week on Tuesday and Thursdays and loves to watch C beebies when at home. She enjoys shopping, having her nails painted and sensory activities
Responsibilities:
• To work along side another PA to support with personal care routines
• To support Jenny with her feeds and medications
• To accompany Jenny to swimming lessons and wheel chair dancing
• Provide social opportunities at home and in the community
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience supporting Adults with postural care needs.
• Someone who is patient, playful, and has an attentive approach to care.
• Experienced with Peg feeds or Willingness to learn
• Someone who is reliable and consistent, and able to build long-term trust with Jenny and family.
• Full clean driving license (car available for use)
• Someone who can swim or is water confident

Requirements:
• Enhanced DBS (processed and funded after successful application).
• Willingness to undergo any training
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Job Title: Personal Assistant for 5 year old little boy
Location: HEYWOOD, Greater Manchester
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour and expenses paid
Hours: 4 hours during Term Time and 12 hours during school holidays
This role is very flexible and will consist of weekends and evenings during term time and during the day in school holidays.
We are seeking a confident, experienced PA to support a delightful, fun, energetic 5 year old who lives in Heywood with his family and Pet dogs
This is a long-term role with a welcoming family.
Harry (not his real name) loves to go to play areas, swimming, parks, farms, MacDonalds, Morrisons cafe. He loves to be outside and free to explore. Harry thrives from 1 to 1 attention and will express his joy and happiness. He also tries to play alongside other children but needs support to do so. Once he has made a connection he is delighted, which is lovely to see.
Harry gets a lot of feedback from the world around him by being able to touch feel and explore. He uses a wheel chair to get around outside.

Responsibilities:
• To take Harry out to his favorite places
• To ensure he is safe at all times
• To recognise when he may need his inhalers or some sensory input to help him regulate
• Physically support Harry to access play equipment
• Apply gentle massage and physiotherapy stretches as required.
• Apply and remove a leg splint
• Push Harry’s wheelchair and be able to lift to load it in and out of car as required
• Assist Harry in and out of wheelchair.
• Support to walk outdoors safely for short amounts of time.

What We’re Looking For:
• Experience supporting children with Cerebral Palsy, Sensory Processing Disorder and Autism.
• A patient, playful, and attentive approach to care.
• Willingness to learn
• Someone who is reliable and consistent, and able to build long-term trust with Harry and family.
• Full clean driving license (with own car available for use)

The resource was co produced with pupils at New Bridge School and Bury People First, funding from the The National Lottery Community Fund

We’re looking for someone friendly and reliable to support our 16-year-old daughter in the community. She has Down Syndrome, loves singing, dancing, drama, music, bowling, the cinema and anything that involves food.
The role is all about helping her build confidence, get out and about, and enjoy the things she loves.

Jude (not his real name) loves to watch paw patrol on his iPad, completes chunky wood puzzles with ease and absolutely loves running around the park. He’s a big explorer when it comes to being out in nature and is also a big fan of the trampoline park and going through the McDonalds drive through.
