A little late… but here’s to celebrating Finley turning 10 in style 🥳

Sight loss is part of our world, and whilst it brings challenges we never expected, it has also taught us so much.

To slow down, appreciate the little things and never take a single moment together for granted.

Our life might look different to what we once imagined, but we feel incredibly lucky and grateful for the life we live together as a family 🤍

VD: Video shows Finn walking into the shop and going to the flowers. He then moves to the chocolate and sweets and pays for it all. He brings it all home in his rucksack and gives them to Danni on the sofa ❤️

VD: A video of Danni and Roo setting up for Finley’s birthday. The video starts with Danni heading off to the shops to get wrapping paper, birthday badge, birthday cake and some food to then arriving back at the house where Roo is trying to put together a bike. Danni then unloads the shopping and decorates the house with banners and balloons. The balloon say 10 are Silver and blue with the banners reading amazing since 2016.

Some nights this summer, after a full day running our watersports business, this is us… absolutely exhausted ❤️

The truth is, sight loss doesn’t switch off when work finishes. The extra planning, adapting and challenges can be exhausting, and honestly, sometimes I don’t know how we do it all.

But somehow, we do. 💪

We run a business, work long days and keep going, all alongside sight loss and living with a disability. It’s not always easy, but we’re incredibly proud of what we achieve.

Because we’re a team🤍 When one of us is struggling, the other pulls harder. Together, we find a way.

Tired? Absolutely. But proud? More than ever. 🫶

Sight loss is part of our lives, but it doesn’t define what we can achieve. Together, we keep going & achieve the same as anyone else ❤️

Spend the day with us running our Watersports centre alongside daddy’s sightloss ✌️

VD: The video starts with Danni picking up their training boats cover as it had been fixed to then finishing on a content shoot for one of her clients. Danni then meets Roo at work and helps him in the office. Finn comes in after a morning sailing. Roo can be seen helping him pull the boat up the beach. Roo and Danni then have a busy afternoon with sailing lessons bed heading off to get Oaklen. They stop and get fuel for the truck and then the video finishes on them watching some tv.

VD: The video starts with Danni making coffee, breakfast and the dogs breakfast to then sorting the washing. She then leaves Roo in bed and heads off to get Oaklen. The video ends with them coming home excited to see Finn and Roo.

We all get so wrapped up in life that we forget about the little things and at the end of it all, those little things are the only things that truly matter. If only younger me could see what I have at 32. She would be so proud. Here’s to spending my birthday with a heart so full of love & gratitude 🤍
