TOMMY BROGAN is an active chorister with Parkside Colliery Male Voice Choir in Wigan he is 100 on 8th August this year (2025). Tommy has been interested in Male Voice Choirs for many years and was a founder member of Côr Meibion Y Fflint (Flint Male Voice Choir) before moving to Wigan in 1988 and joining Parkside, at 100 he still sings in Parkside’s concerts and attends our practices each week where he sings in the Baritone section.
Until he was 95 he worked as a “trolly lad” at Wigan Asda at the time owned by Walmart who claimed him to be the oldest supermarket “trolly lad” in the world we at Parkside would like to think he is the oldest active chorister in the world as well.

The Deva Lodge Masons are holding a Car Boot Sale at Cheshire View on Sunday 17th August and our hospice charity has been chosen to collect donations for entry on the day 💙
