2025 Business Reflection, From the Heart
2025 has been one of the most defining years of my business journey so far.
It was not the loudest year, or the easiest year, but it was one of the most important.
This year asked me to slow down, take a proper look at my business, and decide what I actually wanted it to become, rather than just reacting and keeping things ticking over.
Refining the business, not just running it
In 2025, I moved The Butterfly Creation into a more intentional chapter.
I leaned fully into what I do best, creating bespoke business books, notebooks, journals, planners, and workbooks that are not only beautiful, but purposeful. These are not generic products. They are tools that help business owners communicate their message, build credibility, and create deeper connections with their audience.
Behind the scenes, I spent time strengthening my foundations.
My processes became clearer.
My pricing became fairer and more aligned with the value I bring.
My boundaries became stronger.
I learned that saying no can be just as important as saying yes, and that alignment matters far more than volume.
Growth through challenge
This year brought challenges that tested me, both personally and professionally.
There were moments of doubt, moments where things felt heavy, and times when I had to make decisions that were uncomfortable but necessary. Not every collaboration worked out. Not every lesson was gentle.
But every experience taught me something valuable about discernment, self-trust, and the importance of protecting my energy as a business owner.
2025 helped me step into my role more confidently, not just as a creative, but as a businesswoman who knows her worth.
Purpose beyond profit
One of the most meaningful parts of my business journey this year has been continuing my role as both an Angel and Alliance partner for Stronger Together Through Cancer.
Giving back is not something I add on at the end. It is woven into the fabric of my business.
Knowing that a percentage of my work supports women navigating cancer adds a depth of purpose to everything I create. It reminds me that business can be successful and kind, professional and compassionate.
That balance matters deeply to me, and I am proud to stand by it.
What 2025 taught me
This year taught me that:
Clarity creates confidence
Boundaries protect creativity
Alignment attracts better clients
Purpose gives business longevity
Growth does not always look busy, sometimes it looks steady and intentional
The Butterfly Creation now feels more grounded, more focused, and more aligned than it ever has.
Looking ahead
As I close out 2025, I do so with gratitude for the lessons, pride in how far I have come, and excitement for what is building quietly behind the scenes.
In 2026, my focus is on:
Sustainable, aligned growth
Deepening client relationships
Expanding my publishing and business book offerings
Continuing to give back through my charity partnerships
Creating work that feels meaningful, impactful, and true to my values
2025 was the year of foundations, refinement, and realignment.
2026 is the year of expansion, confidence, and impact.
