They focus on what they want to say.

The most successful business books don't start there.

They start with the reader.

What questions are they asking?
What challenges are they facing?
What do they need help with?

There’s something I notice with so many people before they get in touch.

The truth is, most people underestimate the value of what they know.

One of the questions I was recently asked was:

"How long does the whole process take?"

It's a really important question because every business book I create is completely bespoke.

As a guide, I usually allow 10 to 12 weeks, depending on the project and how quickly feedback and approvals come back, obviously a notebook is not this long!

I know that might sound like a long time, but there's a good reason for it.

I'm not simply putting pages together.

I'm getting to know your business, understanding your audience and creating a business book that reflects your brand and supports your clients.

There are conversations, drafts, revisions, design, formatting and publishing. Every stage plays an important part in creating something you'll be proud to put your name on.

I never want to rush that process.

I'd much rather take the time to create something exceptional than deliver something that feels "just okay".

If you have an event, programme launch or special date in mind, it's always worth getting in touch as early as possible so we can plan everything together.

After all, creating your business book isn't just another task on your to-do list.

It's an investment in your business that can continue working for you for years to come. 🦋💞

"What do you enjoy most about what you do?"

Without a doubt, it's seeing someone's idea become something they can finally hold in their hands.

When a client first comes to me, they often have pages of notes, a head full of ideas or simply a feeling that they want to create something meaningful for their business.
At that stage, it can feel overwhelming because they don't always know how it's all fits together.

Then, little by little, we start shaping those ideas.

A conversation becomes a plan.

A plan becomes a bespoke business book.

Before long, they're holding something that reflects their knowledge, supports their clients and becomes part of their business.

Seeing their reaction when they receive their finished book never gets old.

Knowing I've played a small part in helping someone bring their vision to life is something I'll never take for granted.

"Is there a minimum purchase?"

The answer is... no.

This is one of the things people are often most surprised to hear.

Because I publish through Amazon KDP, your business book is printed on demand.

That means there isn't a requirement to order hundreds of copies or find somewhere to store them.

If you need one copy, you can order one.

If you need ten for an event, you can order ten.

If you need more in the future, they're available whenever you need them.

For many business owners, that's a huge advantage. It means you can create a bespoke business book without the pressure of buying large quantities upfront.
It gives you the flexibility to order what you need, when you need it, allowing your business book to grow alongside your business.

It's another reason why I love helping my clients publish through Amazon KDP.

One of the questions I was asked recently really made me smile because I know so many people feel exactly the same.

"I want to create a business book, but I don't know where to start. I feel like I'd be a nightmare client because my ideas are all over the place!"

Firstly, let me reassure you...

You wouldn't be a nightmare client.

In fact, you're probably the type of client I work with most often.

Not everyone comes to me with a detailed plan or a finished manuscript.

Some people arrive with a notebook full of ideas.

Some have voice notes on their phone.

Some have post-it notes stuck all over their desk.

And some just have a feeling that they want to create something, but they aren't quite sure what that something is yet.

That's absolutely okay.

One of my favourite parts of the process is helping people untangle those ideas and turn them into a clear plan.

Together, we'll explore who your business book is for, what you want it to achieve and how it can best support your clients.

By the end of our conversations, what once felt overwhelming starts to feel exciting.
