Clearing out the garden room to make space for a home gym (because apparently I’m that woman now 💪) and what do I find?
Old photos. Old CDs. Absolute time capsules.

Only place left to play them is the car, obviously. So I whack one in and BOOM.
This mix must be twenty years old.

All vinyl.
Recorded when I was right at my peak on the skate and snowboard scene.
Wall to wall breakbeats.

And honestly?
It still sounds fresh as hell.

No filler. No nostalgia tax.
Just proper energy, grit, movement.

What a way to end the year ✨
Every Saturday at The Lane has been a full costume commitment. Christmas sparkle one week, Elf on the Shelf chaos the next, Nutcracker energy right at the end. Frankly, the wardrobe has worked harder than me.

And honestly. The venue itself is the most Christmassy thing you’ve ever seen. Like walking inside a snow globe that serves excellent food and knows how to party. Proper magical. No notes.

I’ve had so much fun this year and wrapping it up here just felt right. The vibe. The people. The attention to detail. What a venue. What a team. What a client. I felt genuinely looked after and that matters more than people realise.

So yeah. Ending the year grateful, slightly glittery, and very full of mince pies.
