This summer, Red House Pool Venue introduces Balearic inspired out of the ordinary experiences to Kent! ☀️

An elevated blend of poolside music, immersive wellness and carefully curated Ibiza energy set against the backdrop of the Kent Downs.

Headlining the season on June 20th is internationally celebrated wellness music artist Mose Musica, bringing his deeply atmospheric organic house sound and transformational live experience to Kent for a powerful Flow and Feat day gathering. Expect hypnotic rhythms, immersive sound journeys and soul-stirring energy designed to connect music, movement and wellbeing in one unforgettable setting.

Joining the Ibiza Pool Party on 11th July is acclaimed Ibiza party brand La Fiesta. Renowned across the White Isle for its exclusive beach club events, stylish sunset sessions and elevated Balearic atmosphere, La Fiesta brings its signature blend of sophisticated poolside energy, uplifting house music and effortless Ibiza glamour to Kent for one unforgettable summer celebration, alongside TV personality and dance music favourite Denise Van Outen.

Taking place on 29th August, Red House Venue will host a special Picnic by the Pool with James Haskell, where guests can enjoy a relaxed poolside picnic, mingle with James and take part in an exclusive live Q&A with the rugby legend, broadcaster, entrepreneur and podcast host.

Happening in Ramsgate today from noon-2pm, a celebration of our town’s cultural diversity has been organised by mayor , with a fiesta of food and music.

As part of the UN World Day for Cultural Diversity on Thursday, 21 May, Ramsgate will be bringing Harbour Street to life with a vibrant showcase of global culture.

Reflecting the rich mix of people who live and work here, the street will be filled with international food and music. This UN-recognised day is all about connection, understanding and community, and there is no better place to experience that than right here.

, the photographer behind the iconic ‘Man and Baby’ Athena poster is celebrating the 40th anniversary since it was taken by exhibiting a range of his works at Westminster Bank Building on Ramsgate’s High Street.

THE ATHENA 1980s COLLECTION & OTHER WORKS includes a reissue of 25 classic posters from the original collection which is in collaboration with AthenaArt, and 25 unpublished images from the same era, which have never been exhibited before until now.

‘Man & Baby,’ officially entitled ‘L’Enfant’ was Athena’s most reproduced image. It was one of many iconic and instantly recognisable photographs that emerged from the brilliant creative partnership of photographer Spencer Rowell and art director Paul Rodriguez.

The exhibition is open from Wednesday to Sunday 13–31 May, and there is a Private View on Thursday 21 May. Please follow or contact for opening times.

Immersive sound baths, choral soundscapes and meditative live performances are coming to some of Kent’s most historic locations this May as This Place Meant (from Sound Emergence ) continues its sound pilgrimage across the county.

Designed as reflective, sensory experiences that connect music, voice, landscape and heritage, the events invite audiences to slow down, listen deeply and experience familiar places in entirely new ways.

For its first-ever cathedral stop, the project brings together an extraordinary lineup including ILĀ, Alice Phelps and singers from London Contemporary Voices.

Blending human voice, experimental composition, resonance and atmosphere inside one of England’s oldest cathedrals, the performance promises a deeply moving sonic experience within the vast Norman architecture of Rochester’s historic landmark.

Drei, zwei, eins..:.the countdown is on!

As the town gears up to get behind our very own for this year’s Eurovision, don’t forget to read Gemma Dempsey’s interview with Sam Battle on page 12 of our latest issue. If you haven’t been able to pick up a copy, you can read it online via the link in our bio.

Thank you to Rebekah Smith for these stunning photos of the new installation by .with.giants situated around our Royal Harbour.

The installation features 338 life-sized silhouettes which each represent one figure for every thousand troops rescued during Operation Dynamo.

These figures include and RNLI lifeboatman, civilian skipper, and Royal Navy officer, as well as a Women’s Voluntary Service lady and three evacuee children symbolising the thousands of children relocated from Ramsgate during WWII.

The installation will be in place until 28th June.

Step through the Looking Glass with as they bring a sense of delightful nonsense to Ramsgate Town Centre!

Professional theatre company Looping the Loop is bringing bursts of creative joy to our High Streets this Saturday 9th May between 11am - 2pm, bringing the magic of Alice in Wonderland to our town centre.

People of every age are invited to this free immersive experience, inspired by the whimsical world of Lewis Carroll.

Theatre Director Ellie Jones says: “Whether you’re a curious traveller or a seasoned resident of Wonderland, there is a seat at the table for you. And it’s all free of charge. This is a living, breathing celebration of the absurd, open to explorers of all ages. The tea is brewing, and the March Hare is getting restless!”

The event is packed with activities designed to spark the imagination and draw visitors into the imaginative, wonderful world of this well-known story. Of course there will be tea …. of a sort!

Big names. Summer weekends. Canterbury in the sunshine. What's not to love? 👀🎶

Canterbury Live is bringing a huge new festival weekend to the St Lawrence Ground from 7–9 August, with JLS, Becky Hill and Madness headlining across three days of live music, street food, markets and festival vibes in the heart of the city. The event is expected to attract more than 40,000 music fans across the weekend.

Friday: JLS, Pixie Lott + The Wanted 2.0
Saturday: Becky Hill, Ella Eyre + more
Sunday: Madness, Cast, The Beat feat Ranking Jnr + more

✨Comedy continues at .club this spring ✨

On Thursday 7th May, VAULTS COMEDY brings three top acts who will join host Sharon Wanjohi in the much-loved cellar bar.

Headliner Omotayo has won Best Newcomer at the Black Comedy Awards, a Leicester Square New Act of the Year award and an Amused Moose Comedy award. Time Out has described him as “A charming young comic, he’s got the jokes to back up his charm soon he could be playing to thousands“

Funmbi is joined by Erika Ehler and Josh Elton.

Erika is a Chortle Student Comedy Award winner, and has written for Have I Got News for You, Roast Battle, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and Netflix.

And Josh, who won the title of Welsh Unsigned Stand-Up of the Year award in 2017, has performed right across the UK including the Edinburgh Fringe, Radnor, Neath and Leicester Comedy festivals as well as at top comedy clubs including Stone Circle and The Glee Club.

Doors open from 5pm when you can enjoy drinks and pre-show food from their new small plates menu, followed by a night of cracking comedy. The show starts at 7.20pm.
