Good evening all, the weather has been fairly consistant for the past 7 days, and the next 7 days ahead is no different. Temps around 17/18C during the day time with overnight temps around 10-12C. Winds gnerally light with some moderate breeze at times. occasiconal showers but no rainfail of substance expected. Talking of rainfall, we are currenlly at 268.7mm YTD. This time last year was 541mm, and the yearly average is 365mm. So rainfall YTD is well below average and a lot less than the same time last year.

The first snowfall has already happened on the tops in Scotland with a number of locations in the North of England and Scotland already seeing their first frosts and we already have seen overnight temps dipping to just 1.7C. No sign yet of any colder weather in the next few weeks and remaining slightly above the seasonal average.

The over night low was 1.7C! Today plenty of sunshine, light winds but feeling chilly from the NE. Max temps today 17C. Looking ahead day time temps will be around 16-19C for the next ten days, still one or two days left that temps could exceed 20C in the next ten days. For the rest of September very little in the way of rainfall.

🍂 Good Afternoon Rayne!

Autumn is very much here — with mild daytime temps and single digits overnight.

⛈️ Yesterday brought a few thunderstorms. A local resident messaged to say the lightning conductor at the Church was struck, with the thunderclap heard as far away as Brunwin Road. Thankfully, no damage was reported, and the conductor did exactly what it was designed to do.

Looking ahead, we’re in for a wet and windy 24 hours:
⚠️ The Met Office has issued a Yellow Warning for Wind from 8 PM tonight until 6 PM tomorrow.

🌬️ Winds: S/SW 16–18 mph, gusting 35–40 mph, possibly stronger

🌧️ Rain: Heavy showers and some longer spells of rain expected

📊 Rainfall so far in September: 34.6 mm

Take care if you’re out and about, secure anything loose in the garden, and be prepared for some autumnal bluster! 🍁

🌧️ Good Evening Rayne!

A change in the weather is on the way over the next few days, with some wet and windy conditions expected.

⚠️ The Met Office has issued a Yellow Warning for rain from 10 PM tonight until tomorrow noon.
Rainfall amounts are difficult to predict — anywhere between 10 mm and 70 mm is possible, though it looks like Kent may see the heaviest totals.

Tomorrow’s outlook:

🌡️ Max Temp: 21°C

💨 Winds: SW 14 mph, gusting 22–26 mph

🌦️ Staying unsettled, with blustery conditions carrying into Tuesday

Overall, it’s set to feel much more autumnal than summery in the coming days. 🍂

Stay safe, and keep an eye on the skies!
