So I have had a few messages about rain. So far this year vs other years, YTD we have had 142mm of rain, this same period last year we had 57mm of rain ytd, since 2014 ytd the average has been 51mm of rain. So currently we are triple the average rainfall YTD

Heavy rain continues until around midnight, over 9mm so far. No large impacts locally with storm Goretti but Cornwall currently on a RED alert with life threatening storm gusts expected there of 100 mph.

Good evening, current temp is -2.5c. The high today was just 0.8c. This mornings low was -4.3c at 8.21am with a wind chill of -7.9c.

Very cold over night with temps around-4c dipping to around -6c at sunrise. Temps will then improve over thr next few days but will still be below average. A bit messy for the rest of the week in terms of rain, sleet or snow showers, due to a warm front meeting the colder air, where this happens over the uk some heavy snow will fall, no current projections yet if this will affect us Thursday or not.

Good evening, its been another cold day, the cold weather is due to stick around this week, Monday night being the coldest night with temps dropping to around -6c. Tonight temps are already sub zero dipping to around -3c. A band of showers is due to pass close or over us around 3am, currentky a 40% risk, which could produce some snow showers for a period of time, due to current ground temps and low dew points any snow is likely to settle with 1 to 3cm of laying snow possible over night so allow extra time for your journey in the morning especially on untreated roads
