McMichael Radio and Electronics Rally 2026

The 2026 McMichael Radio Rally will be held at the historic White Waltham Airfield, Nr Maidenhead, Berkshire on Sunday 12th July 2026.

White Waltham Airfield is home to the West London Aero Club (WLAC) and is one of the oldest and best known airfields in the country. Set in 200 acres on the edge of a picturesque estate in the beautiful Berkshire countryside, it is also reputedly the largest grass airfield in Britain.

The West London Aero Club will be providing on site catering for breakfast and lunch and will also be running a Licensed Bar including local Rebellion Beer.

Our new historic venue offers great views of the airfield activity from the rally location where you can tune in to listen to the airfield radio.

Paul M0IRH was presented with his McMichael Radio Rally Raffle Prize this morning at the Crowthorne and Wokingham Without Men's Shed where he is a member. Congratulations on winning the superb Yaesu FT-3165 with ASP kindly and generously donated by ML&S Martin Lynch & Sons in Staines.

Great News! Thames Valley Repeater Group have managed to find more of the very popular Key KM3000/KM4000 VHF radios and these will be available for purchase at the McMichael Radio Rally and Electronics Fair . Please note: These are not currently available via the TVRG website.

The radios have been programmed and come ready for use.

Remember to visit the TVRG Stand to take a look at these popular radios and support our local repeater group.

Martin Lynch & Sons have been a continuous supporter of the McMichael Radio and Electronics Rally and this year has again kindly donated the Raffle Prizes for the Rally Raffle.

As can be seen from the Photo above, Tony has generously donated a Yaesu FT-3165 VHF Transciever for first prize and lots of additional prizes for the runners-up, so remember to buy a ticket (or two) while at the rally. READ MORE:

The TVRG stand will be alongside the Club Stands this year.
