Hello! We’re Sam and Tom, co-founders of The Pines - here’s a little about us!
We’re two musicians with a passion for making music and offering a space for artists to fully immerse themselves in their craft. We’re huge believers in the personal, emotional and human relationships involved in making music, that it’s the people you work with and the connections you make that bring out the best in your music. This mantra has always been at the forefront of our minds as we started The Pines.
We both started playing from a young age, forming bands, performing live and falling in love with making music. Through recording our own music in various projects over the years, we developed a love of the process of writing and creating in the studio and felt drawn to following this path. Some of you will remember us from Studio 91 which we ran for over a decade across two different studios. Through hundreds of sessions and many other musical ventures, we always felt like there was another step on our journey to making music - and the experience and memories along the way have led us here.
Tomorrow we host our studio open day as we welcome everyone to come and celebrate this special milestone with us. Everyone is welcome, for a quick hello or a full catch up, we’d love to say hi and show you our new home! Drop in anytime from 2pm til late, refreshments provided and plenty of space for everyone.
