Something Creative Everyday: my latest pen and ink drawing of director David Lynch.

Fedrigoni 365 2025 marks the eighth edition of this celebrated publication. The theme for this edition is ‘opposites,’ aiming to highlight unity and diversity through 365 contrasting concepts, totalling 730 designs. Each date in the calendar pairs two contributors who present opposing interpretations of seed words such as "right/wrong" or "west/east." This side-by-side comparison is intended to provoke thought and dialogue by showing the contrasts and similarities that can emerge from different creative perspectives.

I was assigned the seed word of ‘indifference’. I was inspired to ‘paint’ using a sponge with washing up liquid bubbles onto Fedrigoni Sirio Color Black paper, as an ode to Led Zeppelin releasing ‘In Through the Out Door’ on this day in 1979, with indifferent reviews. Released with 6 picture sleeve variants, with 6 bar onlookers. The cover features a spot UV sponge mark, inspiring the design. Book design by TM Studio.
Profits will be donated to the Alzheimer Society.

I wanted to pay tribute to Bowler’s significant contribution to electronic music as a DJ and promoter.

He was a visionary, playing everywhere from London to Ibiza. He gave me opportunities to design his logo and many of his clubnight flyers and identities. He gave me the freedom to create visuals for the scene we were all a part of. I also had the rare pleasure of DJing alongside him a couple of times…
