It is with deep sadness that we report the tragic passing of Hon. Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Minister for Defence, Hon. Dr. Ibrahim Muntala Mohammed, Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, along with six others, in a helicopter crash that resulted in the aircraft being completely incinerated.

On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, the Municipal Chief Executive for Kintampo North, Hon. Isaac Donkor, delivered an address at the Kintampo Municipal General Assembly.

In his speech, he emphasised the progress made in various developmental initiatives, the importance of youth empowerment, and the shared responsibility of all citizens in enhancing the municipality's growth and prosperity.

REBUTTAL FROM THE CAMP OF MOMANHENE REGARDING OUR EARLIER
POST ABOUT MO MANHENEMAA’S UNSUCCESSFUL FUNERAL.

Following our previous update, we reached out to the palace of the Mo Manhene, Nana Kwaku
Dankwa III, to gather their perspective and ensure that all parties have the opportunity to be heard.

The youth representative of the Mo traditional area, speaking on behalf of the Manhene, refuted the allegations, asserting that the claims made in the video are false, unsubstantiated, and unjust.

He urged all members of the Mo community to remain united, reaffirming that the funeral will be held at the appropriate time. The interview took place at the Manhene's palace.

Ghana Scout Association Fights Malaria in Kintampo!

Led by the Deputy Chief Commissioner, Executive Commissioner, and Bono East Regional Commissioner Shaibu Fuseini Fenteduah—who also serves as the Kintampo Municipal Youth Leader—the Ghana Scout Association has launched a Malaria Education Campaign in Kintampo.

The campaign focused on educating the public about malaria prevention and the importance of sleeping under insecticide-treated mosquito nets. As part of the initiative, treated nets were donated to the Kintampo Municipal Hospital Children’s Ward, Babato Health Center, and members of the community.

The exercise was supervised by the Ghana Health Service in collaboration with the Babato and Soronuase Assembly Members.
