We had a great evening last night in the company of Thames Valley Technology Forum, talking Film Production, Generative AI and the emergence of the Reading-centric UK "Cine Valley" with some of the leading tech companies from across the region.

It was a pleasure and a privilege to support Nick Moran, Tony Christie and Sting in filming the recording of "Thank You For Being A Friend" - a joyful, elevating track in support of Music for Dementia. This year marked the 3rd annual "Thank You Day", a rallying point for awareness and fundraising by the charity. The video was shot, edited and produced by Russell Caligari and Theo Kai Marlow under Nick Moran's directorship. Tony appeared on BBC Breakfast alongside Sarah Metcalfe to discuss the recording and his own experience with this devastating condition.

Music for Dementia has teamed up with Thank You Day - Sunday of 2nd of July to invite you to thank your neighbour, colleague, friends, family or carer throug...

As well as our offices in town at the Reading Biscuit Factory, we have a country home at Carmel College near Wallingford in Oxfordshire. The sprawling grounds on the banks of the Thames are a location for many film shoots - Midsummer Murders, Endeavour, Pennyworth, The Death of Stalin, The Man Who Fell To Earth, Murder in Provence to name but a few ... The Pet Shop Boys and Kate Bush also shot videos there.

Having a base at Carmel keeps us very close to the productions taking place, enabling us to continually grow our professional network and our services business.

We've also made many new friends in the vicinity including the wonderful folks at the Ox Shed Cafe in neighbouring Cholsey - their coffee and homemade cakes are an invaluable part of our deep strategic thinking (pictured).

How many film production companies can boast of having their offices in their OWN INDEPENDANT CINEMA?!

We can! Ginger and Pickles are based in the wonderful Reading Biscuit Factory - bang in the middle of Reading town centre.

It's a three-screen cinema, bar, coffee shop, live performance space and community hub, offering a fantastic, welcoming venue and a setting where everyone can relax, work, meet and create – all under one roof.

(And OK - it's not *our* cinema. But it's most definitely our home from home.)

The RBF present an exciting and varied film programme, from the newest blockbusters to the latest independent films, as well as a host of special one-off screenings and events. Anyone can drop in to work from the beautiful cafe and bar space, or simply relax and enjoy a movie with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.

If you are looking for a unique and versatile space for any events, there are several spaces available for hire, including the cinema screens themselves. Suitable for classes and workshops, meetings, rehearsals, performances and presentations, or celebrating those special occasions.

And of course, we LOVE to welcome our guests there, for drinks, meetings and plenty of film viewings!

If you're interested in being part of our adventure - as a collaborator, investor, advisor or just a good friend - get in touch, we'd love to meet and show you around. See you soon!

We are beyond excited to announce our (UK) EIS Certification and opening of our seeding Funding Round!

With EIS certification achieved, we are seeking investment of Β£750,000, targeting a projected ROI of over 430% after 3 years from investment date. This seeding round closes 30 Nov 2023.

As a powerful launchpad for our growth, we have secured exclusive rights for the production of a global feature-length documentary, The Unexpected Return of Mr Meek - in cinemas Feb 2025.

This flagship release focuses on the extraordinary life and musical legacy of 1960s producer Joe Meek, who crafted the sound of modern music - working with David Bowie, Jimmy Page, Richie Blackmore, Tom Jones, Rod Stewart, Marc Bolan and many more.

A number of high-profile contributors are already committed to appear in the production including Nick Moran (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels), Sylvia Massey (Producer: Prince, Red Hot Chilli Peppers), Nigel Godrich (Producer: Radiohead, Paul McCartney) and Trevor Horn CBE (Producer: Buggles, Ivor Novello Award).

Exceptionally, the narrative thread throughout the film will be provided by Joe Meek himself - brought "back to life" and given a voice in his own story for the first time - through the magic of deepfake AI.

Alongside this film, G&P will deliver a 5-part docuseries for streaming - exploring the themes of Joe's life in greater detail, including the (criminalised) homosexual experience of the 1960s, his incredible home-grown recording techniques, and the dark underbelly of "swinging sixties" London.

In addition, G&P will bring contemporary A-list music stars into the studio to create brand new songs using never-released Joe Meek instrumental material from the 1960s. As well as providing a central part of the main documentary, this unique past-meets-present collaboration will produce an original soundtrack album and a series of music videos - creating compelling viewing for a global, multi-generational audience.

The box office and streaming revenues from this highly innovative, multi-faceted project will provide the launchpad to develop a wider slate of projects currently in gestation.

This is an exceptional Film investment opportunity:
- Advanced Assurance Certificate of UK EIS
- Unique, powerful, and protected creative IP
- Committed, global-profile collaborators
- Seasoned creative and business leadership and teams
- Professional operating setup with Expert support network of specialist advisors and business partners
- Industry benchmarks show significant upside opportunity
- Extensive access to film sets, festivals and other production experiences
