The Athena Network Reading and Henley has six thriving and energetic groups across the region. The meetings are held on the:

East - 1st Wednesday of the month
Virtual - 2nd Tuesday
North - 2nd Wednesday
Central - 2nd Thur

We are currently networking online and all of our monthly formal meetings start at 12noon and finish at 2pm. The Cappuccino Connections meeting is our informal/drop in meeting and that starts at 10.30am until 12noon. The professions that we are inviting visitors to attend and experience an Athena Network meeting within the Reading and Henley region are:

It’s one thing to be knowledgeable about your topic but conveying some of your expertise in just 10 minutes can be quite a challenge.

Rachel will be sharing with you a simple structure that not only helps you create your
content coherently but also helps your audience stay with you. If you don’t speak up about your business and your expertise, there will be someone else in the same field doing so.

When you speak, you become more memorable than simply attending the meeting
– but for some it’s a huge challenge.
Starting with a simple structure, Rachel will give you the building blocks for any
presentation.

1. You’ll learn why using a structure is important for both the speaker and the audience.
2. You’ll be shown a simple structure to use.
3. You’ll also be given some simple tips on presenting your content.

An experienced speaker and coach, and with a real knack for finding the sweet spot in a story, Rachel works with business professionals on finding their stories and crafting them into their talks and presentations.
