This is the first episode of a lengthy TeknoParrot game setup guide series. Is the new Toxic Avenger any good? Well, it would be difficult to pull off the greatness of the 1984 original. Like most reboots/remakes of films of yesteryear. Things to consider is modern day production - cameras etc makes films like this look far too "glossy", and thats what the original shines for - the pure grit and "budget" b/movie look. To be honest. The transformation scene was pitiful in this reboot. It also features a scene picked up from the original 1984 inside the restaurant. Again, this film even messed this part up. Not a great reboot at all. Stick with the original Troma films.
