In today's classic Golden Year between 9-10am, we recall the year Margaret Thatcher was elected for a third term, a hurricane hit parts of England (despite weatherman Michael Fish assuring us that it wouldn't) and Black Monday saw the biggest single-day stock market drop in history.
And in the singles chart, Stock-Aitken-Waterman's tea boy, pictured, had the best- selling single.
