I'm planning on starting a new YouTube channel 'Campaign for better disabled access and facilities'
A channel to highlight the challenges people with a disability have to access facilities such as cinemas, theatre's, shops, leisure centres, restaurants, public transport, trains, airlines the list is endless.
The issues they also have with parking, not enough adequate disabled parking spaces and the abuse of non-disable people using these spaces.
The channel will also highlight the positives, where businesses have invested in facilities and services to offer a great experience to the user.
Working in adult social care for over 20 years and looking after so many people with a variety of different disabilities has given me a good background to identify risks and issues and look for ways to minimize risk and look for solutions to improve the quality of an individual's life.
