Etihad Cargo and LODD Autonomous explore next-gen air mobility

Etihad Cargo has signed an agreement with Abu Dhabi-based LODD Autonomous to explore the integration of the ‘Hili’ hybrid VTOL aircraft into UAE operations. The partnership aims to enhance middle-mile logistics with agile, sustainable, point-to-point delivery capabilities — without the need for runways.

With a payload of 250 kg and a range of 700 km, the ‘Hili’ aircraft offers an innovative solution for time-sensitive, high-value shipments across complex terrains. Trials will assess efficiency, safety, and commercial potential as part of Etihad Cargo’s broader focus on intelligent, future-ready logistics.
