Village Seasonal Tidy-Up 🌿

We’re getting together again for our seasonal village tidy-up starting on:

📅 Saturday, 13th September 2025
🕘 9:00 am

After that, we’ll meet every fortnight in a different spot around the village, finishing on Saturday, 8th November 2025 (weather permitting).

✨ Come along, lend a hand, and help keep our village looking lovely.
A little effort goes a long way!

Final BIG Draw this week so come to the park on Friday theme 'draw your dream career'!🎨 Art work to be shared in due course.

Well done to Team Chaisty who were the deserved winners of the Pedestrian Treasure Hunt around the village today. What a fantastic event organised by the Crafty Knitters Sarah Hawsham, Julie, Sarah E, Vanessa, Val C and Val A and so many more! A BIG thank you to all the volunteers especially Steve Hamshaw who passed out clues and supported along the way. It was wonderful to see lots of families getting involved. From daisy chains, crickets and an elusive four leaf clover to find, there was something for everyone!!

Our Winner Captain Zennor! It was a fantastic morning judging all the entrants to this year's Scarecrow Competition. If you want to take a look head to Fore Street, Church Row, Chapel Terrace and Ting Tang Cottage near the football ground. Well done and fantastic creativity by all that took part this year. A BIG thank you on behalf of the Parish Council.

Saturday 30th August, 12pm – 6pm, with After party for older teenagers

Join Redruth's Youth Fest at East End Park for our first-ever Youth Fest – a free, action-packed day celebrating young people in Redruth. Enjoy our showcase of live music and entertainment including performing art such as circus skills, stilt walking and more! On site will be local youth artists, exciting civic career demonstrations (police, coastguard, fire service, health and more), food stalls, skateboarding /BMX, arts and crafts workshops, interactive zones, games, face painting, a quiet zone with activities to help you relax, and much more. They are also planning an After party for older teenagers.

This festival is being led by Redruth's Youth Council in collaboration with many other youth groups across Redruth and the local area to ensure it truly reflects a wide range of needs!
