2months late… but still worth the recap 💖

I’m so proud of Bobs ridden journey. Within the space of 2 years he’s learnt so much and is still learning!

A quick reminder that Bob is in fact a commercial carriage horse used for weddings, funerals and tours of London!

To be able to go from his ‘day job’ to then coming out competing or to clinics with me I find so damn impressive!

This day he showed up for me when I truly needed him to give me some confidence. A week before this we had a bad showjumping round where we got eliminated, making me feel like a complete failure.

I went to this ODE knowing it was relaxed, advertised as a friendly/non competitive venue and just welcoming people to have a good time with their horses ✅

I did that and more! I want to do it all over again 🥰

Big shoutout to Jess & Alison who made the day round so smoothly and helped me with every little problem that occurred!

10 years with my heart horse 🤍

If I could re live some of my favourite moments over the last 10 years, I can guarantee that Frank was either part of the memory or was talked about.

10 years seems like a long time, but I’m fortunate that he’s given me so many first experiences and still carries on to teach me so much about horsemanship.

Within those 10 years we’ve experienced so many different disciplines I would’ve never imagined trying and I can honestly say he turns his hoof to anything!

I’m excited to hopefully spend many more years together and make even more memories to be proud of 🥰

A month of florals, hacks, sunshine and the return of the rain!!

The weeknd was one of the most incredible concerts I’ve ever been to ! 💖

Winston Bob and Aries all had a pop over a jump!
Franks had his vet visit!
Moo moos threw Joe off on the road but we won’t talk about that 🫣🙂

September I need to hack mouse more!! Mouse and Bob have been in the carriage a lot recently so days they have nothing are treated as rest days!

He’s like a different horse! 🤍🫶🏻

A lovely outing with Bob on Sunday to a course hire! It’s been a while since we had a pop over some jumps.

Bob being a working carriage horse means that’s the jobs take priority, so whenever there’s a little break in between we make sure to go have some fun!

We tested jumped everything as a course straight away, with Bob only stopping at the barrels and water tray which wasn’t too much ago a surprise! He jumped them when being presented again and honestly he felt really forward and wanting to take me into the jumps!

Will way be proud of how far he’s come. For me it will never be about jumping big or competitively… just to have fun and the horses too to enjoy themselves 🤍😁

Living my childhood dreams! 🩵🤍

Wearing a long dress with Winston the beautiful shire horse felt like something out of a fairytale!

Growing up, I was very much a tomboy and would still class myself now still the same! However, when Flo sent me a photo of this stunning dress she had hand dyed, I knew it needed to be look one or three for my photoshoot.

With my hair (and Winston’s mane!) plaited like Cathy’s from wuthering heights, it all felt like it pulled all the elements together.

I’m currently in my fairytale era 👸🏼
