It is with great sadness to hear of Wilko Johnson’s death. He was a superly talented guitar player and recorded the Down by the Jetty Album at Jackson Recording Studios- an iconic new wave album with Dr. Feelgood. We are sending love to all of Wilko’s family and loved ones. Rest in Peace and keep playing those awesome guitar 🎸 riffs in the other world.

This is the announcement we never wanted to make, and we do so, on behalf of Wilko's family and the band, with a very heavy heart:

Wilko Johnson has died. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Westcliff On Sea on Monday evening, 21st November 2022. He was 75.

Thank you for respecting Wilko's family's privacy at this very sad time, and thank you all for having been such a tremendous support throughout Wilko's incredible life.

RIP Wilko Johnson.

In 1980, Jackson Studios was commissioned to sell off Beatles Memorabilia, recording equipment and Abbey Road Studio equipment. John & Malcolm Jackson managed the event and saw the sale of amazing equipment in some cases for just a few pounds - a great investment 37 years later.

Check this out. I found it exploring Inside Abbey Road Studios with Google.

Discog of some of the bands that recorded at Jackson Studios - not comprehensive by any means but a good start - Initially founded by Jack Jackson to record his BBC radio shows. It was later taken over by his sons, brothers Malcolm Jackson and John Jackson in the late 60s. Probably most notable for their in house engineer/producer Vic Maile. The studio was located in Rickmansworth, South-West Hertfordshire, England. : https://www.discogs.com/label/266236-Jackson-Studios
