I used to think that setting boundaries meant I was being selfish or mean. As a recovering people-pleaser, saying “no” felt so uncomfortable - like I was letting people down.

But the truth? Constantly saying “yes” when I wanted to say “no” only left me feeling drained, resentful, and disconnected from myself. I realised that if I didn’t start protecting my energy, I’d have nothing left to give - not to others and definitely not to myself!

Boundaries aren’t about shutting people out; they’re about loving yourself enough to honour your needs 💛 The right people will respect them, and once you drop the people pleasing mask, you’ll find you can actually develop much healthier and deeper relationships with those people based on truth. The wrong people will reveal themselves, and that’s okay.

Took a wholesome trip to my original hometown 🤎 Nothing beats a morning walk and scenic views, followed by a chai latte and a wander round the funky shops ☕️✨

I’ve found myself guilty of postponing trips lately due to the rubbish UK weather we’ve been having and I’ve definitely been suffering from a bout of cabin fever. So here’s your Monday reminder to stop waiting for the perfect conditions and go do something you love anyway, you won’t regret it!

6. a wholesome walk through one of my favourite local places 🌿
7. the most encouraging, inspiring and moving business call🤎
8. found a gorgeous reservoir - the walk all the way around it took 3 hours but I was determined!
9. getting into a consistent morning routine (finally, I am not a morning person 😆)
