Just after 7pm I'll be chatting to Debs Powell of The Belper Community Choir, who I met at the Belper 250 event a few weeks ago. They sing for the pure enjoyment of it (it shows!) and – like most choirs – are always on the hunt for new members.

On The Zone this evening…

I'll be catching up with Liza Pulman, who brought her show 'Hooray for Hollywood' (featuring Joe Stilgoe) to Derby Theatre in January. She's now bringing her other show – featuring music associated with Barbra Streisand – to Derby Theatre, on Friday, September 11th.

This is not a tribute show: it's one magnificent performer singing the music of another, together with a six-piece band. This is a treat for anyone into musical theatre or films. You and a friend could even be there for free if you win tonight's competition!
