Just a 20-minute walk from Le Moulin Fort campsite brings you to the beautiful Château de Chenonceau.

We’ve visited the château before, so this time we decided to enjoy a lovely walk through the surrounding countryside instead. One of our stops was the peaceful, secluded grave of Madame Dupin, tucked away on its own in the woodland.

We then continued down to the riverside for some beautiful views back towards the château. It really is a stunning sight from this side!

The lovely weather brought plenty of people out enjoying the area too — cycling, horse riding, canoeing and walking.

Another wonderful day back in an old favourite of ours, revisiting places we know and love from our time working at Le Moulin Fort. ❤️🇫🇷

We felt truly blessed to revisit the place where our journey began at Le Moulin Fort Camping in the breathtaking Loire Valley, France.
We were fortunate to have shared four incredible seasons with amazing people, forming lifelong bonds with the visitors and reuniting with our dear 'September Club' friends during our stay.
It was a steal at just over 60 Euros for a 3-night pitch with electricity, thanks to our ACSI card!
And the best part?

I didn't have my proper camera with me when we went for a stroll yesterday evening, so this phone picture will have to do. :)
It's a view from just outside the municipal campsite we're on for a couple of days in Amboise, France.
It cost just over 48 Euros fro two nights with electricity, unfortunately there's no working wifi, but the site is nice and the reception staff were lovely.

☕🇫🇷 **Returning to an Old Haunt!**

As part of our latest motorhome adventure through France, we couldn't resist returning to a place filled with happy memories. 'La Maison des Pages', in the beautiful village of Chenonceaux, was one of our favourite coffee stops when we worked nearby at Le Moulin Fort Camping.

There's something rather special about revisiting places that were once part of everyday life. Sitting outside with a coffee and a pastry, it felt like we'd never been away!

Chenonceaux is, of course, famous for the magnificent Château de Chenonceau, one of France's most visited tourist attractions and second only to the Palace of Versailles. But for us, this little corner café and its memories are just as special.

We're travelling once again in our motorhome, revisiting old haunts and discovering new places along the way. 🚐🇫🇷

We made our way from Montrichard to Chenonceaux to stay on the site we worked at 10 years ago.
We were a little early so we pulled up across the river and sat at the riverside directly opposite the campsite and made ourselves a spot of lunch.
It's just as beautiful as it was all those years ago.
Anyone else been to this area?
