🏛️ Ville de Montréal restored. One of Québec’s most extensive heritage projects has been completed by Beaupré Michaud et Associés in collaboration with MU Architecture. The work preserves historic features while introducing new, accessible, and modern spaces for citizens and visitors.

🌍 The project achieved impressive sustainability goals, reusing thousands of tons of stone and concrete, installing air-to-water heat pumps, and cutting energy use by 79%. These measures ensure the National Historic Site continues as a civic landmark while operating with 99% carbon-free emissions.

🎨 The interior now features restored council chambers, public pathways, and the new Salle des Armoiries, animated by a five-panel artwork created by artist Chih-Chien Wang. Craftsmanship, design, and artistry come together to celebrate Montréal’s past while embracing its future.
