New production room is almost complete, and I’m excited to share a glimpse! Kicked things off with a few fantastic sessions with , and it’s already feeling like a creative hub.
The new API The Box is an absolute game-changer. It’s delivering everything I’d hoped for—superb sound, a powerful setup, and the perfect fit for a production room. Huge thanks to the team at and for making this happen! Also, massive shoutout to Audix for the incredible mic lineup; they’re adding a ton of depth and flexibility to my sessions. More on that coming soon!
The drum kit is shaping up nicely, too. I’ve got a vintage Yamaha Studio Custom 9000 from the ’80s alongside a 1960s Ludwig 400, which is such a classic. Still working on finding the right cymbals to round out the sound, but it’s already coming together beautifully.
Also adding some fun toys to the studio collection!
I’m still on the hunt for the perfect interface / converter setup,
and considering another 4–8 channels of preamps to round things out any suggestions drop me a line. Big thanks to Carol at Sola Management for helping make this space a reality—I’m so grateful for the support in getting this room up and running.
