It all went a bit Pete Tong on my run this morning, I wasn't aiming for 10 miles but wa looking for places to extend my current route, I took a chance... I ended up in a horse field ankle deep in mud in my new trainers.
Oh well I know not to go that way next week.
Managed 8 miles today which was amazing as not done a long run in 3 weeks and my thighs hurt!!

So that 10 miler 2 weeks ago wasn't a fluke, got another in the bag again today.
It was slower and harder, but I was so thankful that the whoever is in charge of the rain took pity on me, and it started the minute I stopped.
Thank goodness for a coffee at the end.... oh, and don't run with a cough.... silly idea!!!

I've been terrible posting and I don't know why... because today I reached my 10 miles non stop. So hard going today, it was cold with inclines but kept reminding myself it's 148 days to go to London Marathon.
I may celebrate this evening with alcohol but for now I'll stick with me costa.

I've not been very good for the last 2 weeks as been focusing on being with family then holding myself accountable, so I'm now getting myself back on track. My last post was day 39 of training and today is day 57.
Between then i have been exercising but not enough i have done:
12k bike ride on day 40
5.5k run on day 41
6k run on day 45
5k run on day 48
5k run on day 55
And a 10k run today as day 57

I've eaten poorly but will focus on being better this week moving foward.

Annoyingly I have not been able to access this account for several days so here is a back log of training days: 35, 36, 38 annnd 39

Day 35 Friday and no training 😂 as today I worked 2 jobs and couldn't fit anything in.

Day 36 I smashed out the virtual Vitality London 10,000 (10k) run
First non stop 10k in a super long time so was pretty buzzing.

Day 37 exhausted from yesterday so just treated myself to an hours walk with the dog

Day 38 saw a 5k run pre work feeling pretty chuffed with that

Day 39 just done a 12k indoor bike ride before work

I've got back into bad habits of sweet treats during the week so if you see me snacking permission to smack it out my hand... apart from the weekend as I can't be that good all the time

Day 33 and 33 in training.

Day 33 saw me head out in he drizzle rain for a 6k run... actually nice running in the rain a bit until I stepped in my 4th puddle and feet were wet then stopped being so fun.

Day 34 I finally got back on my indoor bike and smashed out 10k whilst waiting for me dinner to cook.

Had a big donation to my page this week so I'm at about 30% of my target which is great and it's only 213 till the marathon

Day 31 and 32 in training.

Day 31 saw me complete a 5.25k run around St Mary's island with a friend and my pace was thr same for 4 out of the 5k which was pretty impressive. Made it round before it chucked it down

Day 32 no exercise as I do 2 jobs on a Tuesday and Friday and have no energy when I get it so next week I will get on me indoor bike for a 30 mins before work

Also will be doing a skipping challenge for October.

Day 29 & 30

Day 29 saw myself and pup complete the pegwell Bay park run which was a lovely 5k route. I still had to give the dog some treats to get us around the course.

Day 30 and I was meant to go for a run however due to some issues we cut our camping/ fishing trip early and came home okay I did cover 10,000 just by packing up and unpacking again.

Day 27 and day 28 in training.

Day 27 no actual exercise logged, this is due to the fact that I left work and joined my husband camping. I did get my steps in running sound being bitten horrifically by mosquitoes

Day 28 I completed a 5.5k run in sandwich, which was lovely and I must say I'm impressed by my negative splits.

I have again today been eaten alive by mosquitoes there cant be a place left they have bitten. Oh and they can get through pretty much most items of clothes!!

Day 25 I gave myself off to still rest up from the 13.1 miles on Day 23

But Day 26 yes today I ventured back out for a 5k.
I've moaned all day that the weather has changed and how miserable I was.... however running after work and not in scorching heat was much nicer
