It was great to meet so many people from near and far, as well as chatting with some familiar faces. It’s brilliant to hear all about other people’s ideas and passions for writing, and how our area inspires them. A great event, organised by the Kyle of Sutherland Books & Arts Group. 📚

Wow! What a day at the Edinburgh International Book Festival last week!

The venue was packed, and what fantastic conversation was shared. We were delighted to be joined by Alan Riach and James Robertson to revisit the Scottish Renaissance through the work of Hugh MacDiarmid and Neil Gunn, as well as so many other under-sung voices. Chaired by Linden Bicket, we dove into the remarkable stories and writers who helped reshape Scotland’s imaginative life.

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us!
