Redroad FM Redroad plays Rotherham’s BIGGEST Variety Of Music on 102.4FM, Online, On Mobile & On Smart Speaker! Redroad is the youth radio station for South Rotherham.

This is the page for Redroad FM broadcasting on 102.4FM in Rotherham and Sheffield and across the world at redroadfm.com and on the TuneIn Radio App. We specialise in broadcasting local information, and covering issues relating to young people, playing music that fits the lifestyle of young people. After being on air for a month in March 2007, Redroad FM covered the schools half term holi

day and involved lots of organisations and individuals. In late 2007 Redroad FM was awarded a 5 year radio licence. The team of volunteers started to apply for funding to launch the station. The initial launch date of November 2009 was moved back to March 2010 and on Monday the 15th of March 2010 test transmissions started. The station launched on Saturday 27th of March 2010 at midday with the first show being presented by current breakfast show presenter Aaron Outram. Now we pride ourselves on being the station with the BIGGEST variety of music. Tune in and support your local community radio station!

Rotherham Central will close from 4pm today until at least noon tomorrow as Network Rail takes emergency action to protect signalling and telecoms equipment from rising flood waters linked to Storm Claudia. No Northern or Supertram services will run through the station during this period, with rail teams warning the River Don is at high risk of overflowing. Passengers are urged to check travel updates before setting off, as disruption is expected across the area.
