Let’s talk about “The Bear”.

Recently just finished the series and wow. The first few series are chaos. Actual chaos. In an intensity way, but one that makes you feel exhausted after watching an episode. Not a negative exhausted, just with the dynamics on screen being so mental.

After a slight dip around series 4 where it went a little more abstract, which personally I didn’t mind, it’s finished in absolute glory.

A top 3 for me.

The stories and characters all paid off perfectly at the end, the investment we’d made into all of them emotionally was rewarded by the final episodes too.

Visually, some stunning cinematography and editing to bring the pace, intensity and chaos of a restaurant service. Just all impeccable. And the writing of it all. Just cherry on the top.

Huge fan. Go watch it! Paramount/Disney.

Crew Event 😍

A special group of people. Not joining us because it’s a work event that they have to be at, but because they want to be. They want to be part of our community.

Travelling from Devon, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Leicester and across the West Midlands to celebrate each other, the creativity we’ve all been producing, thanks for supporting us over the last however many years, and believing in what we’ll be achieving next together.

These aren’t just freelancers (and a now Policeman).

These are fellow creatives who are our team, our community and our people.

Shout out to Gourmet Gecko on the food as well! Insane job, especially in that heat.

Best thing about food content? The Chefs.

These guys were incredible. At their job, of course. But for a group that in their words “hate the camera” and understandably given we’re having to operate in their tight spaces became so accustomed to not necessarily the cameras, but the crew.

Maybe they were the ingredients (pun intended) that changed their perception of the camera?

The crew.

Our first and foremost aim is to make people feel comfortable with us. Relaxed enough that they feel like they’re just having a chat with other people who are genuinely interested in what they do. Before long, they’re showing up as themselves and you can really tell that in performance.

No secret sauce.

Just a straight up care in the process.

Like that of a great chef.

Ecommerce video to supplement the hero images of the clothing.

When alongside those hero images of full length, close ups, fits and other key aspects of clothing, the video brings it altogether.

Adding movement, how it falls and how looks in reality.

These were provided as individual clips, but with every clothing items, all in all bringing every product to life that much more.

Never had slower consecutive days in my life. Gold dust for a creative brain.

I’m definitely not saying I did all of these things all of the time, but much more than usual and it certainly makes a difference.

Funny what happens regardless of where you are.

> Won a project for June with a new London Agency
> A new client booked our Content Creator Package for next week - thank you Ada Digital Marketing
> Instructed on booking dates for a project we were waiting on - thank you
> Our “Making Of” documentary is ready - thank you

To me, that proves that hard work always catches up.

And going away, taking breaks doesn’t mean you aren’t doing anything useful or productive.

I’m just refuelling for the next stages with YouNeek Productions Ltd as we have big plans for the rest of this year
