👠💐 Take a glimpse into my Botanical Shoe Book... 📖
Many years ago, I started painting the botanical shoes (botanical arrangements in the shape of a shoe) as a bit of fun on the side from my serious botanical work. During the lockdowns of 2020, I decided it would be a great idea to put them in a coffee table book of inspiration and colour.
It begins with someone setting off on a journey to find love and seeking a magical garden. The story is merely hinted at through a series of short poems and prose. I have also included some colour mixing and some tips along the way.
After my first book print run, Search Press kindly offered to facilitate a second print run, which is now available from bookstores and online. There is a link in my store, and through that link you can often find special offers laid on by Search Press, who produce the most beautiful 'how to' books.
As you know, I don't do hard sell, but I think this would be a marvellous book for anybody interested in painting flowers and looking for inspiration to step outside of the traditional illustration path. Maybe taking them on a little creative journey of their own.
