CompassSport Magazine is published 6 times a year. It is a paper magazine only. Subscriptions can be made online at www.CompassSport.co.uk You can also buy individual copies there. We also accept direct bank transfers in various currencies or cheques. Prices - UK £42, Europe £50, World £56 for the year. BOF members get a £1 discount. After Ned Paul started the magazine, Suse & John C**n were the second Managing Editors and Nick Barrable since 2006 has been running the show.

The final issue of 2025 - Volume 46/6 - DEC26, is being posted today from our printers S&G in South Wales. Expect it to hit UK doormats in a few days.

Is CompassSport magazine value for money?
It is interesting to note the Swedish Magazine Orienteraren is now £15 an issue (4 a year) for addresses outside of Sweden. (£10 for those in SWE.) CompassSport is £7 UK, £8.33 for non-uk European addresses and £9.33 for Outside Europe. And you will find MANY MANY more maps in CompassSport.

Just over a 1000 runners took part in the 41st CompassSport Cup Finals, held in some fine dunes by Redcar at South Gare hosted by Cleveland Orienteering Klub. South Yorkshire Orienteers took the CSC for the 18th time by only 5 points ahead of Forth Valley Orienteers and Interlopers Orienteering Club - Edinburgh took the small clubs Trophy for the 6th time.
Course winners' prizes were vouchers from CompassPoint shop and presented by owner Romauldas Stupelis HOC.

Many thanks to Peter Guillaume SYO who is standing down as the CompassSport Cup Coordinator having done the job for over 20 years. He will still carry on doing the entries. Andrew Kelly CLARO will now take over Chairing the CSC Steering Committee.
A huge thanks to all in CLOK and beyond who made this fabulous weekend and competition happen.
Next year's CSC Heats are on the 22nd February 2026. Final will be 18th October 2026 at Pippingford Park, Ashdown Forest, hosted by Mole Valley. Put those dates in your diaries now!
