Fresh Air & Exercise!

Would you like to take on a distribution round, delivering The Listing to local households?

We’re looking for reliable and hardworking individuals (or families!) who would enjoy earning a bit of extra money while getting some fresh air and light exercise this summer.

The magazines are due to be collected from us on Thursday 24th July, and the distribution completed by Friday 1st August.

We currently need help with upcoming distribution rounds in the following villages:

📌 Holiday Cover – for the end of July
• Therfield & Kelshall – 215 houses

📌 Holiday Cover – for the end of July (may become permanent)
• Orwell and Wimpole – 554 houses
Needed for both end of July and end of August.

📌 Permanent Round - starting the end of July
• Barley – 251 houses

We offer a good rate of pay, and this is a great opportunity to keep active, explore the local area, and earn some extra income this summer!

Jamie’s Quest Quiz Night – Supporting Lifesaving Cancer Treatment

A charity Quiz Night is being held in support of Jamie’s Quest, a fundraising campaign to help cover the cost of lifesaving cancer treatment for local resident Jamie.

📌 Thursday 24th July from 7pm at The Heath Sports Club
📌 Teams of 6 | £10 per person
📌 Raffle and prizes on the night
📌 Freshly made pizza available from BB Pizza

The evening promises to be a fun and social event, all while raising vital funds for a worthy cause. Everyone is welcome, whether entering a team or simply coming along to show support.

🏆 Royston Business Awards – Nomination Deadline Extended 🏆

Royston First is delighted with the overwhelming response to this year’s Royston Business Awards, with hundreds of nominations already submitted. With such a strong turnout, the judging panel certainly has its work cut out!

However, to ensure all categories are well represented, the deadline for nominations has been extended until 31st July. While nominations for all categories remain open, there is a particular call for entries in the following three:

✨ Apprentice / Trainee of the Year
Royston First is keen to recognise young talent – those team members who are committed, show real promise, and deserve acknowledgement for their contribution.

🌱 Green Award
This category celebrates businesses that go above and beyond in their commitment to sustainability and environmentally conscious practices.

📍 Beyond Royston
This award highlights outstanding businesses located outside the Royston BID area, but still within the wider SG8 region.
