Lachlans grown up watching Steve Backshall on tv, so was made up for the chance to go with him to see the man himself.

Out for a few hours today on the Weaver testing it out, making the most of a day off.
Lachlan said its better than the paddleboard, but im not sure about that...

🪖 Stepping Back in Time: No Man’s Land at Bodrhyddan Hall 🕰️🛡️

​History came to life in the most immersive way possible. We headed over to the stunning Bodrhyddan Hall for the NML event, and it was a total masterclass in living history.

​From the smell of woodsmoke and authentic field kitchens to the incredible detail in the uniforms and equipment, the re-enactors did an amazing job of transporting us back. 🎖️📽️

​Why this event hit different:
1️⃣ The Atmosphere: Set against the backdrop of the 17th-century hall, the contrasts between the peaceful gardens and the grit of the encampments were striking.
2️⃣ Interactive History: It wasn’t just looking at displays; the passion and knowledge of the historians on-site made every conversation a fascinating deep dive.
3️⃣ Family Friendly: Seeing the history through the eyes of the next generation. 📸👦

We’re gearing up for our Drive-Away Awning, Camping & Accessory Show this June… and we’re looking for a selection of quality traders and food vendors to join us 👀

This is a large outdoor event running over 2 weekends (with the week in between), bringing in a strong audience of:

🎒 DofE, scouts & wild camping audiences
