We have a super story to share with you all today! 👏🏼 Gary O´Pray is the label founder of Sunstone Records, a label which returned from 10 years of inactivity after Gary heard potential in new music from The Poachers 💿 He chose to put his Challenging MND grant towards part funding an album, with the album launch taking place on the 30th June. Not only did Gary and Sunstone Records use the album launch as a way of raising awareness of MND, but they also donated an amazing £3000 of profits raised to our charity 💜

Our final total raised for our fundraising event for Challenging MND is £3000.

We can’t thank you enough for your support and help to raise such a fantastic sum.

Special thanks to lthe bands and djs for putting on a great shows, also to Groovy Graham for his amazing poster design that Boab made into a t-shirt for the event with all proceeds going to

Sunstone have covered all venue costs and donated 20% of all album and merchandise sales on the day.

Giving us a grand total £3000.

We now move on to our next project and hope to be releasing more music in the coming months.

What an amazing day!

That was special, it was fantastic to see everyone enjoying themselves.

Thanks to The Imagineers and Figure 5 for putting on a great show. Both bands were on top form. To all the Djs for playing great sets.👌

Also a big thanks to those that helped make the event possible and run smoothly on the day.

Thanks to everyone that bought tickets making it a sold out event and all those that bought raffle tickets and merchandise.

We are still calculating the sums we will post how much we raised for Challenging MND in the coming days ❤️✌️

Album Playback 7pm Saturday McChuills

This Saturday Sunstone Records album playback at McChuills.

McChuills is where bands on the album started out back in 2004, band members worked there, djed, ran nights and hung out. Earning the nickname “The Gang Hut” that continues to this day.

Then and Now” volume 1, a double gatefold vinyl album featuring Figure 5, The Rudiments,The Imagineers and The Poachers.

Dj Walter Pistol (Nicky Wright) from The Rudiments will be playing the album in full with a selection of sounds that influenced the bands on the album.
