✨ Let’s talk about the recent news around gel polish and TPO ✨

You may have seen some scary headlines recently, but here’s the truth:
🔹 The studies being quoted involved feeding very large amounts of TPO to male rats. This is not how gel polish is used in real life — where it sits on the nail surface in tiny, cured amounts.
🔹 TPO is currently permitted in nail products in the UK, and CJP gel polish (the brand I use at Serendipity Hair and Beauty) is fully compliant with all current UK cosmetic regulations. That means it has been assessed and is safe for use and wear.
🔹 The UK has given brands until late 2026 to reformulate their products, and CJP are already working on this responsibly to make sure everything stays 100% compliant well before the deadline.
