This pair of 33" Coronelli globes have safely been delivered and are now on display in their new home, Dyrham Park, National Trust, Gloucestershire.
Dyrham Park has undergone a ‘transformation’ project to redecorate and interpret the house in its late 17th century heyday. Soon the reproduction flock wall hangings in the room the globes are in will be replaced by ‘leather’ wall hangings as it would have originally had, to provide an even more authentic setting for the globes.

Waldseemuller's 1507 Globe
In 1507 Martin Waldseemuller published a small woodblock print of twelve terrestrial globe gores. The printed area was fourteen by seven inches and was designed to make the earliest surviving printed paper globe.
This facsimile is on its way to the library of the city of Feldkirch, Austria.
