Saffron Walden Art Society are hosting ‘Art after Dark’ on the Saturday evening of their exhibition, which will be held here at Fairycroft House.

All of the Art you will be seeing is available to purchase and are all by local artists. This just provides a more intimate and relaxing viewing experience.

fcooke_pieandmash Thank you for once again providing some delicious food 🥧

We sell the Pie and Mash at our monthly All-Star Jam Night and then serve the rest of the pies at our ‘welcoming elderly into well-being’ Cafe which takes place at Fast Eddies Coffee Bar every Friday from 12:30-2:30pm.

Today it didn’t touch the sides and there was even fruit pies and custard for dessert 😋

On Saturday 11th October, Fairycroft will be grooving for cancer.

Doors will be opening at 6:30
Music starts at 7:00pm

Local retired Estate Agent, David Burch is currently a patient at Addenbrookes Oncology Dept and receives treatment at the Oncology Day Unit and Cancer Assessment Unit. Over the last year David and his wife Brenda have seen first hand how many patients with different cancers are helped at this busy unit.

Whether it is something small or large to make patients feel more comfortable or help ease side effects- the search and need is ongoing.

By attending this fundraising event, we can show solidarity with those we may know, have known or individuals yet to be diagnosed.

Pilates

There is a big movement towards individual health and wellbeing at the moment, with an increasing number of people discovering the amazing benefits that Pilates can offer.

Nicole is a BASI trained Pilates instructor, based in Saffron Walden. She runs a Pilates mat class every Tuesday morning here at Fairycroft House as well as more in depth 1-1 Pilates sessions in her own Pilates studio.

Released on the same day, Elliot and special guests will be playing and celebrating the release of his brand new E.P 'I Choose The Moon'. It will feature the Singles Constellation and Happier and four other brand new songs. Support to be announced.

Elliot Porter follows up his 2019 Album Lanes and his very successful recent singles Constellations and Happier with a new EP including 4 previously unreleased tracks.
