"I do love this - it does show what authenticity can really feel like.
I do feel there is something missing though.
There is the person who is pretending to be someone they are not most of the time, and how that doesn't just mean they aren't bright.
It means that they are fading away - gradually as they cannot be who they are desperate to be with enough people. They don't feel safe enough.
That is what masking, and camouflage can do to neurodivergent children and adults. And that is why neurodivergent people struggle with their mental health.
Can YOU imagine what it is like to have spent so long being someone else that you genuinely aren't sure who you are anymore?

I see a lot in my social media feeds, particularly with everything going on in the US, about support needing to come with something in return. it pains me to see that we are losing our compassion globally.

Everything isn't always about money.

We KNOW that we need to make ends meet as individuals, but does that need to be at the expense of others? No it does not.

I am a qualified counsellor, and I earn through this. I also share my expertise and some resources completely for free
