BCA has published latest data showing how its EV Battery Grading service is driving confidence among used EV buyers.

Since the EV Battery Grading service launched a year ago, BCA has reported a 1.4% (£258) uplift in performance vs guide price and an improvement in time-to-sell of 2.7 days across a basket of over 22,000 battery graded vehicles. The EV sale conversion rate improved by 6.5%

Expectations among fleets on future electric van adoption are falling as operators continue to face challenges with everyday use.

When Arval’s 2025 Mobility Observatory Barometer asked fleets to predict the percentage of battery electric vans on their fleet in 2028, the response was 14%. This compares to 15% in 2024 and 18% in 2023 when the same question was asked.

New charge point statistics for Q3 2025 are now out from Zapmap, revealing continued growth in the UK’s charging infrastructure.

Some 3,928 new charge points were installed last quarter, bringing the UK’s EV charging infrastructure to 86,021 devices (equating to a total of 114,486 electric vehicle supply equipment, or EVSEs) at 43,507 locations; up 22% year-on-year.
